Creating Language Profile

AirOS supports the user defined translations of Web Management Interface (GUI).

Creating the dictionary

English-Local language dictionary file must be prepared before uploading it into the AirOS powered device.

English dictionary file can be downloaded and used as the template for further modifications (with most of the text editors).

The structure of the dictionary file is simple - one definition/phrase/command per line:

Allow => Allow  
Apply => Apply
Cancel => Cancel
...

All the definitions , phrases and commands listed can be translated or altered:

Allow => Permit
Apply => Engage
Cancel => Undo
...

Uploading the Language Profile

New (modified) dictionary file can be uploaded and tested using the 'language' page, which is accessible in the GUI:

http://192.168.1.20/language.cgi

Use the "Browse" button and select the dictionary file which contains the translation:

Set the name for the new language profile and activate the "Upload" button:

Note: Language profile may be renamed or deleted in this page also.

Activating the Language Profile

New Language profile may be activated in the 'System' page, Interface Language section:

User interface changes will take effect after selection is made:

Note: Language profile can be set as the default using the "Set as default" button.
